Christmas this year was amazing! I thought it would be sad and miserble, but it wasnt. God reassured my whole family where Grandma was spending her holiday season.  Remembering the reason we celebrate Christmas is the most important.

Bob and I received a luggage set for when we go on our honeymoon to Costa Rica!!!!!!!  I cannot wait to go!  :-)

In December we started our marriage counseling. We have done some really neat  lessons and have taught us about eachother. Paul makes our counseling so much fun. I am thankful he is our pastor and friend. I made inviations to our wedding yeaterday on the computer. They look so nice. Bob's dad helped me a lot with the Word processor and they came out beautifully.All we need to do is assemble them and put them in envelopes! This morning I checked my e-mail because I haven't in such a long time and saw an e-mail from somone I thought I would never talk to again. I thought this person hated me. I read it, and it humbled me. I hope this marks a new beginning for both of us this year. That e-mail deeply touched me.

The year 2005 wasn't the best year, but it had many blessing as well..

On January 9, 2005 I lost the one person in my family that truly understood me. My grandma was a remarkable woman, and I hope I can become as strong as she was in her faith.

May 21, 2005 a man asked me to be his wife. I will never forget that beautiful sunny afternoon in Williamsburg.

June 14th- August 12th I was in the beautiful state of MAINE!!! Being a camp counselor was the best experience in my life. I met five wonderful women in which I hope to have long lasting friendships with all of them. Nine cute girls from all over the United States lived in the Nightingales cabin with me and two other camp counselors that will forever be in my heart. I took , left behind and gave away pieces of my heart to each girl, counselor and destination of that state of Maine.

August 13th, 2005 I lost my Uncle Mike. The funniest man in my family. He can make you laugh and cry all at the same time. He always had silly nicknames for everyone that he came acrossed. I have a funny feeling that he is making Jesus laugh now.

August 20, 2005 was my 21st birthday!! I finally feel like an adult. I tried my first glass of wine, and it was disgusting.

September 15th, 2005  I picked up my wedding dress. I can't wait to wear it!

October 5th, 2005 a beautiful baby was born into our family. Rose Marie Brock was 6pds and 8oz and looked just like her mommy. My cousin Lessie had a beautiful baby on this day and she will be a great mother. A wonderful baby blessing is what we needed for my family.

November 25, 2005 Happy Thanksgiving!

December 21st, 2005 was marked the 4 year anniversary for me and Bob. We have been dating for wonderful years!!! Looking forward to many more.

December 25, 2005 Merry Christmas!

2006 here I come!!!!!  Let this year be filled with many blessings and wonderful memories!!  :-)

Just got done with my Physics Exam..............YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It wasn't too hard. I'm just glad it is over.

I only have two more exams left!!!!!  Physics on Wednesday and Geology on Thursday!!!!!!   Yippy skippy!!!!  LoL

Today I played with my soon to be nephew. We went to the park and we were being chased by a ton of little girls. They start really young these days.

I am proud of my president. I'm glad he knows we are fighting a spiritaul warfare.

So, a lot has been happening since I came home on the 12th. Bob threw me a Welcome Home party at church. It was really sweet. He put a lot of effort into it. :-)

That Saturday I received some horrible news. My uncle Mike was found dead in his bed due to a heart attack. My uncle came up from Tennessee when my grandma passed away to help my grandpa in his home. This has been devastating for my grandpa. He had to witness this, and for an elderly man that has already lost his wife, was extremely difficult to lose a son. My whole family is shook up about this news. Today I am still in shock of it all. My uncle Mike was the funniest person I have ever known in my life. He was always the comedian during the holidays, and would always have a smile on his face. Uncle Mike would sing you songs and played the air guitar beautifully. He loved the outdoors, animals and movies.The mountains of Tennessee was his home. He lived a short life, but his memories will be placed in my heart forever. I love you Uncle Mike.

The 20th of August was my 21st birthday. I went to a funeral that morning for my uncle Mike and a wedding that evening. The day started off bad, but the evening made it all better. I love seeing two people in love with eachother so much partake in Gods ordinance of Marriage. It made me look forward to mine in May.

The 22nd I went back to work at Kids R Kids. I was there for 4 hours and a parent already asked me to baby-sit! So, this Saturday I will be baby-sitting Tyler and Nathan. The 23rd I went back to school. Yay college! The first day of classes went pretty well. Some of my professors are questionable, but oh well.

So, this weekend I am going to Flub's (since I haven't been there all summer), baby-sitting, going to a baptism celebration, and going to church on Sunday.

Hello Everyone! Crystal is back from Maine!!!!! 

  I had a blast and met a ton of people from all over the world. It is nice to back in Ohio. The weather is better in Maine, but that's okay!

Just got back from the doctor. I needed to get a physical done for the Maine trip in  6 days!!! They poked me three times, took some blood and urine, gave me two shots,  and told me to come back for the results. I don't like going to the doctor. Every time I go they poke and bruise me. I have to get ready for the crazy children in Maine though so......it's worth it.

Got some things ready for the wedding since I won't see or talk to Bob for 2 moinths. Our ceremony and reception is reserved. The chapel is beautiful. I can't wait! :-)

This weekend wasn't very pleasant. I looked like a Who in Whoville. My face was swollen up on the right side, and I had to go to the hospital. The doctors didn't even know what was wrong with me. They think it was an allergic reaction to something I ate.

Finals are coming up, and I still feel sick. It wil be a miracle if  I do well. Everytime I sit down to study I fall asleep. The medicine I'm on makes me drowsy.

I hope everyone else is doing well and studying hard fro finals. Goog luck everybody!

YEC was great this year! The kids had a blast, and we has a ton of visitors that went with us. Brent Campbell was an amazing speaker. :-)

It's the cross. It was the instrument of torture and unimaginable pain, not a piece of jewelry or an icon of mystical power.

It's the blood. Hot, pulsing and running down human flesh, coming from degrading, humiliating, beyond painful, physical punishment.

It's the end of the story about the little Baby in the manger who came to die in submission and humility for us.

It's the beginning of the story about the Alpha and Omega, the One who stands in power and majesty for us, resurrected to eternal life and exalted to His own Kingdom.

It's victory; a once and for all, end-of-the-world kind of victory. The resurrection is a complete and total victory over death, and over anything that leads to death.

It's for all who want it, for the entire world, for the entire universe, for God's kingdom forever! And for you and for me, in our own little worlds.

It's finished. Done with, over, complete. We need to do nothing but accept it.

It's free, but it will cost everything and you will give it willingly because once you have fully tasted it's freedom, you will see that it is priceless.

And that, my brother and my sister, is the result and reason for Easter.
